‘TACTFUL’ is a 4-week group coaching program—for couples & individuals—that will equip you with the Emotional Intelligence needed to bypass the Ego & lead from your Heart, especially  when either you or your partner are upset.

Emotional intelligence (EI) is believed to be one of the most important factors of satisfaction in a committed relationship—research studies show that couples with at least one partner with high EI, are more likely to be happy in their relationship, than those where both partners have low EI. 

This is understandable, as without EI we tend to operate from the unhealthy, unconscious, controlling habits of our Ego — the root cause of disconnection, misunderstandings, conflict, emotional wounding, lack of trust in relationships.

  • This program is a culmination of nearly two decades of personal study & research across different arts & sciences —in my endeavor to become more emotionally intelligent and Heart-Centred
  • TACTFUL‘ combines the wisdom distilled from my training in Mindfulness, Meditation, Vipassana, Ashtanga Yoga, Couples Therapy, Eastern & Western Psychology, Alternate Healing & Philosophy
  • I will teach you the strategies & tools I personally use everyday to safeguard the bond I share with my husband from the self-sabotaging reactivity of my Ego, and to deepen our emotional intimacy

C – Comfort, self-soothe and hold space for disturbing emotions & thoughts —for both of you

T – Think mindfully and compassionately to broaden your Ego-based perspective

F – Forgive yourself & your partner,  let go of negative emotions like anger, resentment, guilt

U – Unite Heart & Mind—with their conflicting emotions & thoughts— and recommit to your long-term intention for your relationship

L – Lean in to take positive action such as initiate dialogue, and listen deeply, non-defensively to your partner’s response

Turn Conflict Into Connection

By learning to respond from the Heart rather than reacting from the Ego you will begin to :

  • Identify the problem-areas in your communication style and understand you and your partner’s ego-based triggers
  • Be more receptive to listening to what your partner has to say instead of getting defensive or emotionally withdrawing
  • Do self-work before you speak &  verbally frame your complaint in a manner which is more likely to make your partner listen to you
  • Be authentic, honest and vulnerable with each other instead of feeling you have to dominate or control each other
  • Manage any defensiveness that may come up in yourself or in your partner during the discussion
  • Self-regulate your emotions before speaking and while listening
  • Be mindful of the need for a time-out during discussion to prevent an escalation of the argument & learn how to initiate it
