➡️Even if it helps you to cool down a little, it will be beneficial as it will curb the tendency to do or say something damaging in the heat of the moment. 🙊

➡️Of course, if the issue is a persistent one, you may need to draw boundaries or state your needs in a polite yet assertive manner. But to do this also first of all you need to be calm.

Unless we mindfully process and release the pain,

Unless we mindfully process and release the pain, hurt, sadness and grief we experience in life, it will remain stuck in our cells, tissues and muscles interefering in our present and causing issues in our relationships.

A safe and gentle way to start releasing this stored up emotional baggage is to practice back-bends like 'Camel Pose' or 'Ushtrasana' as I am seen doing here.

Such yoga postures when practiced slowly and correctly with focus on the breath, stretch the muscles and tissues around our Heart Centre (Anahata Chakra), and help us release and heal from our past experiences.

If you feel burdened by past emotions, I encourage you to start practicing a gentle style of yoga which lays emphasis on the breath.

Yoga has been my refuge for more than a decade and every time I get on my mat it is deeply cathartic. It can be the same for you.
