What To Expect

My therapy & counseling style is friendly, unhurried and non-judgmental. 

I am a trauma-informed therapist and I will personalize my approach to suit your specific needs and temperament, integrating different methods— such as Mindfulness Based Self Inquiry, Internal Family Systems, Non-Violent Communication, Inner Child Reparenting — as required in each session. 

A  researcher and holistic systems thinker by training, I  will try to understand your personal history, family dynamics, lifestyle, trauma faced, to get insight into what could be causing and affecting your challenges and how they can be navigated within your larger context . 

My intention is to help you connect to the spark of inner wisdom, love and peace, which is deep inside our Heart Centre or Anahata Chakra as per ancient Yoga scriptures. Anchoring to this inner source will provide clarity, confidence and strength to move forward with greater ease.

My aim is to make you independent by empowering you with the insight, understanding and practical  tools you need to gain clarity, confidence and peace as quickly as possible. 

We will meet weekly online for a 60 minute session and work at a pace you are comfortable with. I may give you homework in the form of some mindfulness exercises, meditation, journaling or self-reflection exercise after each session.

I deeply felt I should contact Tara when I came across her website. When I messaged her, my words were – I am stuck, can you help move me? Her answer came – yes. And move me, she did!
